Food delivery service, food delivery and snacks: Why is it so expensive?

In India, where food delivery services are a huge industry, the cost of a healthy snack delivery is around $4.50 (Rs 10) per kilogram.

According to the Ministry of Rural Development, that is less than half of the average cost of the same product in the US.

India has also set the industry standard with its food delivery delivery services, where delivery vans are equipped with food and beverage dispensers.
