The first Marvel Comics series to debut with Image Comics is called Daredevil, and it features an alternate universe where Matt Murdock, the title character from the hit Netflix series Daredevil, has taken on the moniker Daredevil.
As you can see in the image above, Daredevil’s origin story has been changed, and he’s now the superhero known as The Punisher, the vigilante who has been responsible for some of the most heinous crimes in New York City’s history.
The Punishers origin story is a pretty fascinating read, so we’ve decided to put together a quick preview for you.
Check out the image below for a glimpse into the comic, which will be released in April 2019.
Marvel’s Daredevil comics will feature many characters from the popular Netflix series, but this is a story that has been completely redefined.
The title character’s origin has been radically altered, and his backstory is a lot more complicated than we ever imagined.
The first four issues of the comic will feature a story where Daredevil was the target of a ruthless vigilante named The Puncher.
This is a fairly well-known character, and the Puncher has been involved in a number of heinous crimes throughout the Marvel Universe.
But, as you can imagine, The Punchers actions in the past have not gone unnoticed by Daredevil, who’s determined to track him down and bring him to justice.
Matt Murdocks past has been the stuff of legend in the Marvel universe, but his past has become so twisted that we have no idea how Matt Murdocking came to be known as Daredevil.
This story will explore some of these issues and more as the series begins.
Marvel’s The Punishment of the Punisher will be the first time that Daredevil will be on the cover of an Image comic book.
This will be followed by a series of other issues, starting with issue #8.
Daredevil will then go on to appear in issues #12-14.
This new series will be illustrated by Ryan Ottley and will be published in April of 2019.
There’s no word on when the series will begin, but it’s definitely something to look forward to.
